01 Design
Nothing that doesn't earn its place.
Our patterns start on paper and go through forty revisions before a sample is sewn. Most revisions remove something. The final bag is what remains when nothing else can be taken away.
02 Materials
Chosen slowly. Worn for years.
We work with three mills and one tannery, all of which we've visited. Waxed organic canvas from Scotland. Vegetable-tanned leather from Tuscany. Recycled nylon spun from post-consumer waste.
03 Function
Built from the inside out.
A suspended laptop sleeve. One document pocket. A place for a charger and a place for keys. If a bag needs a diagram to explain its pockets, it has too many.
04 Sustainability
The most sustainable bag is the one you keep.
We don't release seasonal collections. We make a small number of designs, improve them quietly, and repair them for life.
